The amount of time and effort the content preparation stage takes is often under estimated.

It is advisable to begin this as soon as possible.

Content

Whilst the Initiation and Concept stage is taking place, you can begin your planning, gathering and preparation of content for inclusion into the site:

* What text should appear on your site? This may need to be written.
* What information will illustrate to prospective customers why your business is better than any other?
* What are all the benefits your organisation offers it’s customers?
* Does your business have a mission statement which could be included?
* Do you have any current marketing material that could be utilised?
* Do you have bios on all your staff?
* Do you already have photographs you would like to appear on the site?
* Do you have a logo or branding you wish to include in the site?

Domain Name registration

If you do not already have a Domain Name (or URL i.e. www.focussedonline.com.au), you will have to find an available Domain Name that reflects your business name and register it. (Focussed Online can assist with this task if required).

Web Hosting

Your organisation may already operate a web server, but if not space on a web server needs to be arranged. A web server is a computer that runs 24x7 and publishes web sites to the world wide web.
